Charity the Winner
Regular listeners to Not The Footy Show will know that host Ashley Morrison commentated the Emirates Western Force Games this weekend along with expert John Taylor and Tom Fearn who stepped in when JT was unavailable.
Each home game the experts gave votes on a 3-2-1 basis to determine who were the best players in the match. All of the votes were added up to decide who the Janssen & Maluga Legal Player of the year was 2012.
Captain and Wallaby David Pocock came top of the pile with Matt Hodgson in second. Over the eight home games eleven different players picked up votes, and Alfie Mafi picking up votes in more games than every player except David Pocock.
With the season over Janssen and Maluga’s Gabriele Maluga and Gerhard Janssen went down to Rugby HQ to present David with his prize. However the young captain asked that the money be donated to his charity eigthytwenty vision. The lawyers were more than happy to oblige.
Congratulations to David Pocock and Thank you to Janssen and Maluga Legal for their support of the Emirates Western Force coverage.
